Documentation

DeskEdit versions 1 and 2 each had their own printed manual and reference card. Versions 3 and 4 just had supplementary upgrade guides in addition to the DeskEdit 2 manual. Many of the source files for the documentation have survived, but unfortunately the main manual for DeskEdit 2 cannot be found. So, we provide here all available documentation, but with the caveat that not all of the functions introduced with DeskEdit 2 are fully described. The original DeskEdit version 1 manual is now available for the first time in HTML format, and in combination with the upgrade guides, function key strip and DeskEdit 2 reference card, most of the program's facilities are documented.
